Our Story

I returned to my love of crafting following a serious illness which forced me to abandon my career in Sales Management. Having enjoyed the craft of Pyrography (burning designs on wood) for many years, my daughter Wendy rescued our rubber stamps from the attic and I started stamping the images on wood with wonderful results.  This led me in the direction of stamping on anything that stood still!!!

I gained more experience throughout the UK and America, where crafting has an amazing following.  My collection of rubber stamps grew and grew, until my husband said “You have enough here to start your own business!” And so a plan took shape which has evolved over 10 years.

One of my dearest friends and mentor was a South African lady called Audrey, who gave me tremendous inspiration and guidance at the very start of my journey.  Sadly she returned to South Africa and we lost touch but I will always be eternally grateful for her support, training and encouragement.

Today my husband has created a lovely shop for me in the beautiful Saxon town of Cricklade.  We particularly love this area for the scenery, the warmth of the people and the many friends we have made.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Claire for her wonderful workshops which are always well attended, Sue for her support in the store and the stunning cards she makes, Sam for her brilliant help at covering the store  while we are away at craft fairs.  Truly great friendships that can take a lifetime to make.

I cannot forget Howard for creating this lovely shop and putting up with me every time I asked him to change something or add another shelf here and there, my son and daughter for their encouragement and pride in my achievements.

Also a great big thank you to our loyal customers who keep coming back to visit us.
