Making a purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our website, click on any of the items that you wish to buy and add them to your shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on “ view cart”. Listed will be the items and quantity selected. Please check your order before submitting.
Accepting Orders and Security
When you place an order, either by telephone or in writing, we will treat it as an offer to buy. If we accept your order, we will send you a confirmation email with your order number, at which point we make a legal contract with you. However, we will be entitled to refuse to accept an order if we feel it necessary, in which case we will email you as soon as we can to let you know.
In deciding whether to accept your order we may use the information you have given to us to check with various agencies to confirm your identity. This assists us to protect you and us from fraudulent transactions. If we decline your offer on security grounds we may contact you to seek an alternative method of payment or to visit our store.
Legal
Sales on this website are governed by English law and you agree to submit any dispute to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. All orders are subject to these terms and conditions and no amendments will be accepted by us. These terms and conditions do not affect your legal rights.
These terms and conditions apply only to Once upon a Time’s web site. Any other web sites you link to will be governed by their own terms and conditions. We accept no responsibility or liability for the content of web sites which are not under our control.
Pricing
All prices are in £ sterling and inclusive of V A T. Current vat is 17.5%. Prices may be subject to change without notice, but we will only alter the price after we have confirmed your order, if it is to your benefit.
Foreign Customers
Whilst our website is designed for UK customers we welcome enquiries from other countries. Prices include UK Sales Tax (VAT) currently 20%. The vat charge may not be payable by foreign customers; however additional charges will usually apply. Please telephone or email and we will do our best to assist you.
Channel Island Customers
Please select Channel Island from the lists of countries, this will deduct the vat from your order.
Payment
You may pay by any major credit card or debit card. We will only charge your card upon despatch of your goods.
If you prefer to pay by cheque please make payable to “Once upon a Time…” remembering to add the correct postage. We will need to allow 5 working days after the receipt of your cheque to allow for clearance through the banking system. Only then can we despatch the goods. Please do not send cash
Data Protection.
We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but unless Once upon a Time… is negligent we will not be liable for unauthorised access to information you have supplied to us.
Policy changes
Once upon a Time reserves the right to make changes to our policy at any time without any notification. We will notify our current customers of any privacy changes through email or our website news update feature. Changes to policy become immediately effective upon being posted on this site.
